DAA and the entire Delhi community lost one of their best with the passing of Tom Stucker, last Thursday, April 22nd, 2004. Many kids benefited from having had Tom teach them not only the game of baseball, but the lessons that are learned in life from team sports. He was well respected and a true leader. Tom helped establish DAA's reputation as a quality and competitve organization. Through this organization and his years of contribution to the Delhi Skirt game, he continued to serve our community. He was inducted into the DAA Hall of Fame in 1978. I know that I learned many lessons from Tom that I use everyday in my adult life and I will forever be grateful to him for that. Tom we will miss you, but the lessons we learned from you and your peers should help DAA forever be an organization that we can all be proud of.
