First I want to say thanks to all the volunteers who make it possible for DAA and our kids to play sports. There are countless hours and energy that goes into making this organization what it is, not only on the field but behind the scenes. DAA has NO paid positions, we are 100% volunteer. Thanks for all of those who donate their time.

I would also like to remind everyone our general membership meetings on the third Thursday of every month at Delhi Lodge are open meetings. Everyone is invited and I encourage you to attend. This is where you can find out what is really going on with DAA.

Just a reminder to be sure you pick up all the trash around the fields when you are leaving, you all have been doing a great job with this.

With it staying light later, we can adjust the practice times to the set times. If your practices can go from 5:00 – 7:00 and 7:00 -9:00 if this is what your permit says. Delhi Park fields 1, 2 and 3 will always be 5:00-6:30 and 6:30-8:00.

It has been a wet spring and a lot teams need to make up several games. I am encouraging all the coaches to work together on your practice nights, help each other out when it comes to sharing fields.

The 2010 Hall of Fame induction will be held at the July General Meeting on July 15, 2010.

We are off and running! All teams have played at least one game so far, the rain is not very cooperative this Spring. We have a lot of make-up games to get in so it will be a busy couple of weeks.

The season is going well and makeup games are getting rescheduled as quickly as possible. The Spring Soccer end of Season meeting is scheduled for June 17th at 7pm at the Delhi Soccer Shed, which is located behind the lodge in Delhi Park. All equipment is to be turned in that night also. Fields are looking good and they are being kept clean so thanks to all of the teams and parents that have been playing on the fields this spring.

We are getting close to the end of our season and it has been a great time having all of the little ones out there playing and learning the game. We have had a 110 kids play this season and I have seen nothing but smiles and fun times for all of them. I hope every coach gets a huge thank you from their teams, because they have done a great job all season. We have gotten our pictures back and will have medals for all of the kids by our last game of May 29th. Thanks again for all of the great work.

I want to thank all parents and coaches for keeping our fields clean throughout practices and games. This has been by far our best effort so far. I also want to let everyone know that this is school property so there really isn't any smoking on the premises so please be respectful of others and keep it off the fields. If there is a game on your practice field, because of the rescheduling of games, share another field with someone else. The game will get the best field. Thank you again.

Manager's Committee will be accepting Fall Soccer applications until June General Membership meeting.
