NESA is formed!

The Near East Soccer Alliance was born one day in Tin Comet Coffee where community members from the Near Eastside of Indianapolis gathered to talk about students, sports, and health. The Near Eastside Quality of Life Plan outlines the neighborhood's desire to create a neighborhood athletic association and this was the first step to making that happen.

Group members wanted to provide a place for youth to participate in a fun, healthy, safe environment while learning developmental skills they could take with them in the future. NESA regularly meets at Tin Comet and enjoys talking about fun ways to promote heath and fitness in the Near Eastside neighborhoods.
