NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE MEMBERSHIP
AND ELECTION OF THE BOARD
 

TO THE MEMBERS OF THE ANDERSON YOUTH SOCCER LEAGUE:

The Annual General Meeting of the Anderson Youth Soccer League has been called by the President, Mr. James Crandall, and will be held on Monday, November 9, 2015, at 6:00 pm, at Anderson City Hall in Anderson, California.

Purpose: To hold the annual meeting of the membership as required by the Constitution to elect a Board of Directors, and to conduct a vote regarding any Rule Change Proposals to the league Constitution, Bylaws and Rules and Regulations.

Board of Directors: The following positions are up for election: Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, Referee Coordinator, Lower Coaching Coordinator, Tournament and Public Relations Coordinator, Snack Bar Coordinator and Field & Equipment Coordinator.  Please submit your nominations to the President in writing or by email by midnight on October 25, 2015.  Descriptions of each of the positions can be found by clicking the Bylaws link at http://ayslca.com/about

Rule Change Proposals: Amendments and revisions to the Constitution, Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the League must be presented to the President, in writing or email, by midnight on October 25, 2015. After that date, no Rule Change proposals will be accepted and cannot be presented in person at the meeting.  The current official league documents can be found at http://ayslca.com/about

Voting: Each member of the League who is 16 years of age or older at the time of the vote, shall be entitled to (1) vote per issue at the AGM. A member must be present at the AGM meeting to vote. Voting by proxy shall not be allowed.

Posting: All Board of Directors Candidates, and Rule Change Proposals will be posted on the league website, at the soccer field, and notice will be emailed to the membership directing them to the league website one week prior to the meeting.
